What is your role at Accumet?
Hired for the roll of Tech Support Technician. I was trained to disassemble the lasers and machinery, Transport the machines to Devens location and build and design all of the systems associated with each machine. With my eyes for neatness I spend a good portion of each day cleaning and doing anything I can to make the operators work space more efficient. Lasty, when machines break, I troubleshoot the problems, and go to work to get the machine up and running again.
What is your background?
Grew up in a family of fishermen, went to Massachusetts Maritime Academy and studied Marine Engineering. Graduated and got a job operating a power plant. Then a job on an offshore oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico as an engineer. I'm also a licensed charter boat captain and spend as much of my free time out in nature.
What do you like the most about working at Accumet?
What I like most about working at Accumet is without a doubt the feeling of being in a Family with all of our employees here. I love my job because every day is different and exciting. I enjoy making Accumet operate as smooth as possible.

Yes, I would absolutely recommend working here because there is so much to learn about this industry, and there are excellent opportunities to move up in this company.
What is something that someone may not know about you?
I am the youngest of 6 kids in my family.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
My favorite thing to do outside of work is to take people out on my boat, and teach them how to catch a giant (300-1000 lbs) Blue Fin Tuna.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I want to learn how to edit video, so I can make my own TV show about fishing all over the world.
What would your career be if you were not doing this?
I would probably be shipping out as a merchant marine or as a full time charter boat captain.
